Otoplasty (Correcting of Ear)

The prominent ears are characteristics that can cause many psychological problems. The otoplasty is a surgery that corrects the imbalances and excessive exposure of the ear.

The surgery is performed between 5 to 7 years of age (pre-school), when the ear is completely developed and with almost the size of adulthood.

The surgery is performed under local anesthesia, sedation and local or general, depending on age and medical conditions of the patient
