Correcting Scars

The unaesthetic scars can be improved through medical treatment (ointments, injection of corticosteroids, compression) or surgical. However, there will always be some residual scarring, which takes place is the replacement of a bad scar by another of better quality and less apparent.

The changes that are most commonly found are: extensive scars, hypertrophic, darkness, keloids and retractions scars.

Treatment depends on the type of scarring, their location and genetic characteristics of the patient.
